My friend is having her 18th birthday party and it's fancy dress theme.
I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DRESS AS!
Do you wonderful minds have anything?
The birthday girl herself has ordered a replica of the dress and lilac wig Katy Perry wears in California Girls...
So it's gotta be quite epic...
So guys....c'mon...

Closing Ceremony

Well Now.
What is wrong with my country.
That, my friends, was all over the place.
Morris dancers, bollywood dancers, NUNS ON ROLLERBALDES. All at the SAME TIME. LIKE WHAT?
And i'm sorry.
BUT...One direction? Taio Cruiz?! TINIE TEMPAH?!?
The world must think we're idiots for having people like those.
I mean yes, SOME of it was good. Like The Who, The big Lennon face 3D thing. Those dudes playing all the drums/bins and stuff...
But then like....MODELS?!
THE SPICE GIRLS?!?!?
Is this really all we could go up with? I mean, bleahhhhh.
I totally didn't like that closing ceremony AT ALL.
Dude.
And this is all coming from a girl who thinks the Olympics are a load of BULL and a MASSIVE waste of money...I'd hate to think what Brits who actually LIKE the Olympics think...

Weekend At The Asylum 2012

Okay, so one of the biggest Steampunk fairs happens annually in the UK called weekend at the asylum, and this year, i REALLY WANNA GO.
I read the site and it said that accommodation can be supplied for the weekend by the university.
HOWEVER, there is not links or any info about how i'd go about getting these rooms, and each time i go to the Uni's site, it, obviously, comes up with usual Uni stuff; the prospectus and courses and blah blah blah.
I was thinking, would the only way i could get info about them be having to phone the university and ask? Because i think that'd be REAL confusing for the receptionist :L
Any help?
